Jim Brickman - By Heart: Piano Solos (1995)

This week I will be doing my review on the Jim Brickman album, By Heart: Piano Solos, released in 1995 by Windham Hill Records.

Now if you never heard of Jim Brickman or his music, here's a link to the Wikipedia page:

And for further, more reliable research, here's the link to his website: http://www.jimbrickman.com/

I do promise to explain more about Jim's life, career and album discography in the future. But for now, here is the album By Heart.

The songs "Angel Eyes" and "If You Believe", from this album gained radio airplay. The following year, the CD's title tune, "By Heart," became his first top 20 adult contemporary (AC) hit. (Wikipedia, para 2, Musical Career). This album became one of his best releases as it earned 4 stars and a half out of 5 stars.
My personal favorite tracks from the album are "If You Believe", which was featured on Windham Hill Sampler 96 and "Looking Back".

Here are the images:

"This is the perfect CD to relax to! I've been to a couple of Jim Brickman's concerts. He's absoultly wonderful. he makes you laugh so hard and then listen to a wonderful piano piece. It's so beautiful. I love his other CD's too."

5.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful Melodies May 9, 2003

Format: Audio CD
"This CD has the depth to keep you refreshed and feeling romantic each time you listen to it. Following the quick-capturing first track, 'Angel Eyes', Jim Brickman goes on making each track a beautiful melody to surround you with comfortable and intimate feelings. My own favorite pieces in this CD include 'Looking Back' which is in a calm retrospective sentiment, 'If you believe' which I found uplifting, and 'All I ever wanted' which is very soothing. The sixth track, 'Little Star' is actually another version of the children song 'Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star,' (the ABC song and Bah Bah Black Sheep, but hey, it's the same melody), which Jim Brickman has made it so serenading. The title track, 'By Heart', which Jim Brickman put it the last, is special with the female vocal, Laura Creamer, that is very energetic in delivering emotions."

Here is "Looking Back" from the CD, By Heart: Piano Solos for your listening pleasure:
